Same Chad Ford who had him out of 1st Rd 2/3 weeks ago and then had him in mid 1st Round this past week? Ford is awful. My ritual of Ford bashing when seeing his name always ends with this--he's the same analyst that talked up James Young as a "great passer". Missing on players happens, but not knowing how they play and being a draft analyst that gets paid to know what players can/cannot do is pretty telling.

Same Chad Ford when asked on Sportscenter who would go last in the 2009 NBA Draft. He laughed and said Jodie Meeks trying to be a funny guy. Well he's still in the league. Went 41st, 19 spots ahead of last. Goodman & Ford are complete hacks.

As much as we all love T Jones for coming back (don't win wihtout him), he did lose a full year of money and his career. I think he ended up getting drafted almost exactly in the same spot pretty much too.

T Jones, had a lot of other issues, mentally he struggles (not intelligence....). It is odd that a guy that can average 12 and 7 and hit threes doesn't stick with a team better.

It appears he is on the edge of the first round. Next years draft class is much weaker and he could win a title. It's not rocket science but for some reason there are 90 guys every year that think they are going first round.

Here is a major issue with Bam coming back, the pros clearly see him as a tweener who should play PF in the league, therefore he would want to play PF some next year which is a spot we are absolutely stacked at. Believe me if he comes back I would be ecstatic, just don't know how the hell Cal handles these minutes.

Not sure why Ford is even talking about why a player should or should not enter draft. His work should end with draft predictions. Weird!

Bam should do what he wants.,,he can't play but tons of others are in the league who can't
Bam can't finish if not a dunk right under basket or a oop
He will get a GM fired for taking in first round

People said the same stuff about Davis for the majority of his freshmen year at UK. Bam is young and is still developing his offensive game, not unlike guys like Skal, Lyles, WCS, etc. Give him time. He's a perfect stash player for the end of the first round. Teams have nothing to lose by taking Bam in the 20s, which is where I think he ends up.

Yeah, CF is an idiot.

He speaks from the most optimistic situation. Does he realize how difficult it is to develop reliable new skill sets? He makes it sound like its easy.

Risk from having a million dollar to not having a million dollar is immense.

NBA lock out was looming...he made at the time what appeared to be the smartest decision. Can't knock him with all of that crap going on that year.

LS, stop. I hope Bam gets good feedback to go to the league, if he doesn't, no incoming freshman, I would rather have over Bam!
Bam offers zero defensive presence. He might be our most overrated big man in the Cal era. Very very very good chance Bamba is much better. I'll take my chances..

Bam defends the perimeter as well as any big man in this draft and didn't get a chance to show his rim protecting abilities because our scheme had him around the perimeter.

Also, he's 19, with every measurable tool in the world and a fantastic attitude, work ethic and personality. If he were from Greece or Angola he'd be a top 8 pick.

Anybody who'd rather have freshman Bamba over sophomore Bam is nuts. Bam is far more athletic, far more polished offensively, and has already adapted to the size and physicality of the college game. Bamba has great physical gifts, but he is *raw.* Everybody is just salivating over our next Anthony Davis rim protector, but Bamba is no Anthony Davis.

BAM is one of the players that will be even better in the NBA! I would love for him to come back to U.K. but I think when he gets in the predraft workout they will see his athleticism!! BAM is going to be a double double machine in the NBA!!

if Bam stays and Bamba comes, they will start together
Bam can go back to his natural position, which is the PF position

Bamba is a game changer on defense. Bam is a 6'8 center. I'll take the 7ft great defensive guy and trust in Payne for offense over the course of the season thank you

I think Skal takes that title. Evan called him the biggest miss of his career. Been better in the pros than I expected though and rebounding better.

TJones would have been a one and done if not for the lockout.
