I know I am old school but it seems that all cal wants is a player that can shoot layups what is wrong with having some jump shooters??

His ability to get to the rim reminds me of 2 of the best, john wall and james harden. Hes a special blend of talent and athleticism.

I'm going to say this a ton over the next year........... Bam and Gabriel are not shooters you can depend on. Just because they can hit them, doesnt mean you want them shooting the ball. This time next year when Gabriel is only shooting 27% from 3pt range and Bam is only shooting 25% from deep........ you guys will be up in arms wondering why they aren't living up to expectations shooting the ball.

The thing is, people are saying they can hit the shot and it helps to spread the floor....... but people are hearing that and thinking it means they are good shooters......

Agree 100% and it's why Bolden is farrrrr more important a recruit for us then many on here realize. Bam is actually better at hitting a 15ft jumper then using any post move to score. We NEED low post scoring for next year. I'll admit I know very little about SKJ. Perhaps he can score a little in the paint which would be much needed!
