Emmert stepping down from NCAA

Won't be soon enough. This dickweed has overseen the most unenforced scandal-ridden era, as well as the biggest decline in viewership in the history of the NCAA. He's nothing more than a termite

Exactly, under his watch the NCAA has all but collapsed under his watch. Not predicting it but wouldn't surprise me if the NCAA ceases to exist. The function was to establish, enforce rules and apply punishment for rule breakers, and now apparently we have no rules, so why does college athletics need the NCAA?

The first I heard the name Emmert was in regards to the Kanter situation. As ugly as that was it was the best part of his reign. Good riddance.

Emmert was/is a dyed in the wool useless bureaucrat who oversaw capricious and arbitrary NCAA efforts that was always tone deaf. His lack of leadership and intransigence in the face of the turning tide of NIL has killed college athletics as we know it....the NCAA could have guided and controlled the rules and transition into NIL, but dug their heels in, and then got skull drug by the courts. ....and for all intent and purposes has just effing quit.

I can continue listing examples of his utter incompetence, but frankly that POS isn’t worth anymore keystrokes.....he can eat feces and expire

"His dozen years at the helm of the organization was marked with inertia, ineffectiveness and incompetence ... on issues ranging from conference realignment, name, image and likeness, player rights, soaring costs, rampant rule-breaking, and transfers."
