Im starting to think Cal is drawing the wrong type of recruit. Used to love how in the early years, he got guys who wanted to come compete and work. Guys who almost frowned upon the Duke way of being given everything.

Now though... sure seems like we're getting a lot of guys who really don't want to be playing college, dont put in the work, wilt hen the pressure builds, etc. We have some good ones in Shep and Dilly.. but man a lot of our recent top10 recruits, just not mentally strong IMO.

But it's up to the kid. I mean, does it make sense to me? Not really, but what do I care, I'm twice his age.

Why wouldn’t they, if they are top 10 they get a guaranteed starting spot, no amount of bad play will keep them out. No defense, coast to a huge check.

Boy, we've now descended to making fun of recruits, even going as far as deducing that the props they used in a visit photo shoot call into question the kid's mental abilities (a teenager, mind you...).
