I like the way he runs. I think everyone assumes he will be a LB but from the film I've seen the is a load, has that hit the hole speed, and no one seems to catch him.

Has anyone seen him play the RB position?

We all should praise this kid for being loyal. Both he and Conrad will do well at UK IMHO.

He was a 5.9 until he signed with UK and changed positions to help his team, and wasn't he injured some?

There is a reason you dont see a lot of 6'2" RBs, we need LBs a lot more and he has prototypical size for that. So basically zero chance you see him at RB, and yes he did blow out his knee at some point but cant remember when.

Several SEC schools over the years have had some great backs who were taller then 6', best examples are Herscel Walker and Bo Jackson both listed at 6'1". Big Ten did too.

Guys it's not 1984 anymore. Could we get some examples from the past fifteen years?

The challenge for RBs that tall is pad level. I don't know how Brown's is, but clearly the guys at Bama who are 6'+ have that aspect covered because I saw them finish falling forward A LOT this year.

Derrick Henry (Alabama) 6'3

RB La'Veon Bell from Michigan State. Now with the Pittsburgh Steelers. 6-1 3/8 and 230 when at the NFL Combine.

Yes, Henry is 6' 3" but he also weighs 241#, and Yeldon is 6' 2" but he weighs 221#. Also their five star from the 14 class that is enrolling early this year is 6' 2" and 232# before enrolling. Their first choice at RB this year was Patrick, that is 6' 2" and 234# IIRC, seems like they prefer big backs.

We need too much help at LB for him to switch but the height doesn't mean anything. Adrian Peterson and Demarco Murray are both taller than 6 foot.

Should remember that Brown flipped to Kentucky from Vandy. It works both ways. He will sign this week as an outside linebacker. Defensive player all the way in college.
