EKU game time

When you have kids that get up 5 hours after you get home, you'll understand. Better than noon games but I wouldn't mind a day game throw in there now and again. Funny, for years UK had too many noon games for my liking. Just wish we could get a happy medium.

THIS^^^^^
We usually get to bed about 2:30 AM after 730 PM games. Yep getting pretty old but glad to have something worth staying to the end for and dealing with traffic problems and all. Beats the heck out of what we had the last few years .

Hopefully when the weather gets cold either Charlotte or UL or both will be noon games. Don't they have to let us have one noon game and one 330 game under the SEC TV contract rules?

I wish they were all at 3:30.

Well, if there wasn't 19,000 commercial breaks the games wouldn't go 3 to 17 hours and the 7 pm games would be less of an issue.

That's true. I'm just about to the point of not going anymore. Commercials for six timeouts a half, change of possessions, scoring, and injuries. Affects momentum big time, let alone it's boring as hell.

As someone who watches from home most of the time I selfishly prefer earlier games as most of the best games are on at night it seems so when UK is on I miss most of those obviously. There are hardly any good games on at 11 CT and maybe 1-2 at 230CT or 3CT...but what TV dictates we get.

Couldn't agree more. My home viewing is *this* close to winning out.

Instant replay is completely out of control too. Every time someone comes up a half yard short of a first down they review the spot. It is and will remain the biggest lie ever perpetuated in sports when replay first came out that they just wanted to get the obvious stuff. It's so overused now that no game can ever have a decent flow to it and it makes it almost unwatchable. I went to a Bengals game a few years ago and actually timed it over the course of a game and 1 in 12 minutes of time sitting there was waiting for replay and that included halftime.

Yep. Love the Cats. Seasons since 1976. Getting to the game at 2pm and getting home at 2am is wearing on me. Alarm goes off at 6am for me to work. Kinda feels like my last year
