Horrible comparison, I'm as mad as the next poster but they didn't have Hargreaves or their 2nd best CB either. This was a much different UF teams from last week....

no, he was correct, it is 6 ypa. It was almost 10 yards per completion, but he had 54 attempts.
Still much better than Towles' line of 8-for-24 for 126 yards and 2 INT....and without the long throw to Badet, Towles was 7/23 for 81 yards...slightly better than 3 yards/attempt.
We didn't have a TD in the second half against USC either. Offensive problems with UK run appearing to run deeper than UF's defense.

You do realize that UF's best two secondary players didn't play in that game, right? Oh, of course you do, you actually played the game.
There is an obvious lesson here but it seems as hard to grasp as quantum physics. Barker and the other qbs must suck big time.
Florida's defense is actually good, but I don't know if Barker would have improved UK's offense. Theoretically with a bad o-line, you are better off with a mobile QB. I know that Barker is a pocket passer and since there isn't much of a pocket, one would think he wouldn't have much of a chance (and this is why the staff has gone with Towles over Barker). UK is still more likely than not to go to a bowl game which should be this season's primary goal.
Wish the excuse makers would stop it . Heck , that was a different Florida team this week , NO IT WASNT . We sucked on O , line got manhandled , Towles was below average , He holds the ball FAR FAR too long , the play calling was totally generic , Hell if we had attempted 53 passes Towles might have got sacked 15 times . We were just not ready for prime time . And the same crap hounded us last year . New year . No visible improvement yet .
It can be true BOTH that UF's defense was much improved and that our offense underperformed.
