247 shows him with real interest in UK and he hasnt signed is he a take or a pass

Thought to be a UK lean at one time, there's been some talk of off the field issues.

If it is grades place him in either a prep school or a JUCO. It is no sure thing he will come later but it gives you a good shot. Example Avonte Bell.

The film on him doesn't impress me. He looks slowish and not overly powerful. We got 23 including 4 DL, 5 if you count Allen as a DE. We should probably pass.

Prep schools have just about been put out of business, they had become nothing more than diploma mills.

At this point in time, if one has to question whether a recruit is a take or a pass, it is probably a pass. I think we have an adequate number of guys at his position on the roster and with the incoming class. If you could get a high 3 star or a 4 star caliber prospect, then yeah, you might make room for him. We already have multiple guys at his position that are arguably better prospects. I say save the ride and put it toward the 2016 class, where we have a chance at getting a difference maker.

One time #UK target Anthony Rush @CantBeBlocked25 told me he'll be attending Northeast Mississippi Community College for one year.

.

I suspect we will be limited by the 85 man limit for next year in either case. Even if none of the early enrollies could be back counted, we will have 29 available against the SEC and NCAA 25 limits.

Anyone know if any of this years early enrollies were back counted.

we just need to get a really good juco in a couple years to make up for only getting 1 hs'er this year. we also need to get 2 legitimate DT's in next years class.

Don't think UK takes one yr JUCO transfers. Has to be 2 years so he probably won't end up here.
LOL, what? Joey Herrick is a one-year JUCO. However, you can only go to JUCO one year if you are a full qualifier, in which case it wouldn't make sense for him to go to JUCO in the first place.

Correct. If a kid is a non-qualifier then he must get his 2 year degree before he can enroll in school. If he makes the grades but doesn't get many offers that he likes or he doesn't get any offers for that matter he can go to JUCO for 1 year and then transfer.
