Doubt if Crean is Clapping About This

why is everyone trying to ruin crean's 10 year plan at iu? just because he touches himself, kisses young men, and stalks them, doesn't mean he isn't a good person. the guy can flat out coach. and most importantly he's a winner at iu. they have a firm lead over other big ten programs like minnesota and northwestern. some of you need to back off.

Why? He should be conditioned to Indiana talent going to KY.

Exactly. IU fans have become so used to losing their in-state 5 stars to their surrounding rivals every year that it barely even phases them anymore. Hell, they've come to pretty much expect to miss on their best In State guys nowadays.

Only way to really get em riled over it now is if it's aTrey Lyles type situation where the guy first commits to IU, claims to be a die hard IU guy, but then later flips to us, Now that's a fun way to screw with em.

Tommy won't be at IU in 2017.
You shut your mouth right now. He is the best thing to ever happen to IU. That man deserves a contract extension through 2030. Don't start putting negative ideas in people's heads that might give IU fans the thought that TC is a fraud. We should ALL wish IU the best. That means TC needs to stay right there and continue to lead that program. I think he's doing a phenomenal job.

Name me the high-level State of Indiana recruit in the Crean era who received a college degree from an out of state university. (Zeller, Ferrell, Hulls got their degrees as Hoosiers).

Dunham? I sure wish we had gotten him as a Hoosier. Hammons turned out really good too; Painter did a great job with him.
Excellent college bball players who stay, graduate, play extremely well, and represent the university and their home state well don't grow on trees.

IU fans' problems with Crean are his in-game coaching at times. If all 'ya got is that he looks funny and there's a freeze frame of a video where he's going in to kiss his son on the cheek, then it must be the silly season.

Fire away as you will; let's see how well it can be done without name-calling or hyperbolic offensive insults!.

Crean and IU are irrelevant. It's not even worth debating.

Agree 100%! You people leave Tom Crean alone! He needs the support of BBN! He needs to stay for at least 30 more years! Not even kidding.

You do realize that you are no longer in Indiana toto. Topics like this is more common on a UK board, not sure why you are surprised.

I love the incredibly specific nature of the attempted Hoosier spin.

"I mean yeah but on Tuesdays in August where the dew point is steady on even numbered years when the groundhog didn't see his shadow and there were no cicadas or category three hurricanes, since the Carter administration, Indiana has recruited as well as anyone else!"

You go to college to earn a skill to make you money. If a kid goes to his computer programming classes and learns how to make a very good living then I fully support that kid leaving school to make millions.

You mean that footage of him tonguing his boy? A grown man does not kiss his grown boy.

They're making millions in the NBA.

NBA millions > iu degree

By the way...Scruggs and Wilkes are both fantastic players, and appear to be squared away young men who would be great gets for any program. They have each taken about ten unofficials to IU already, along with a few to Purdue and Butler. It only makes sense for players of that caliber to take a hard look at what's out there within "family distance". I expect them to also be on some combo of UL, MSU, UM, and ND's campuses before it's said and done. If they become Hoosiers (or Cats, for that matter) I prefer they have a complete understanding of what their options are so that their decision is a final, informed one.

If you guys can rope 'em in; they'd be great players for UK. Hope we get them, though.
