We are making progress on catching the top tier teams. Mitch hit a home run with his basketball choices.
Amazing how change can bring about overwhelming positive results. Now if mitch will get his head out of the sand and do a massive overhaul to that football program. I am most a sure we will experience similar results that we are with our BIG TIME basketball programs . Man that women's team is fun to watch .

I don't think UK prioritizes Women's basketball to the point that we would aim for "greatness at any cost", but after the ground work that DeMoss and Mitchell laid to make us respectable, I do think that UK is committed to funding on-going excellence, which is what Mitch has right now. There are like 3 or 4 programs he could go to that would be better than UK in the whole country from a facilities/money standpoint, SEC has been and will continue to be the best conference to play this sport in. I don't think either party has any incentive to part ways in the coming decade if the results continue as they are. There isn't some great institutional momentum keeping UK from being a top 10 team year in year out in WBB.
