The loss was overstated and overrated only because of who the opposition coach was. Arkansas has a much more talented team that has underperformed mainly due to their coach as we have experienced in recent years. Also during that time Cal would pull off unexpected wins due to him always have more talented teams but often underperforming. Remember the same players in Arkansas uniforms would have been the UK team had Cal not have left. Pope put a team of together in amazing speed and we were lucky to get who we have. This team has far outperformed my expectations. This team can lose most anytime but can also pull off surprises. A team no one will want in their bracket in March. Arkansas will be in the NIT. The loss was upsetting only because of the circumstances. I was sorry to see UK players supporting Arkansas, but it told us what we knew—they never played for UK but only Cal and the draft.
