Does UVAs 6th L equate to them leaping Nova for #1 next poll?

Well my point is that UVA is way over rated and Ive been saying it all yr.
UNC will kick their asses Sat for their 7th L.

This is why polls are ridiculous. UVA really shouldn't drop much. They were the underdog in this game and the underdog @ Duke

It's tough to win road games. Especially against ranked teams.

All of UVA's losses have been on the road.....by 7,5,1,2,3, and 4. That's not bad.

How is this an example of polls being ridiculous? Was there some new poll released after the game tonight?

I tend to agree they are overrated and we would roll them on a neutral court-indy

Overrated? 4-1 against ranked teams isn't overrated... Wins against Nova, WVU, Cal, Notre Dame, Miami, Louisville, Pitt, Clemson.. Probably the best wins right now. All of those losses on the road and within 5 except for one which was within 7.

It's even tougher to win games when you are allowed 3 steps on the final play of the game.

UVA is a good team this year. Also remember they should have one less loss. They were robbed at Duke

I watched a lot of the UVA-Miami game, and early on Miami was getting jobbed horribly by the refs. There was a Miami breakaway and the UVA player basically tackled the Miami player to prevent a layup. In all the bear-huggery in the play the UVA player managed to find a bit of the ball. So, the refs ruled Common Foul. Not even in the act of shooting. Similar (though not as egregious) wowzers were also called. Then (it looked to me) the Miami players went overboard in retaliation, and one UVA player seemingly was concussed by getting kneed in the face during a dunk. (Yes, I know. I can't be sure if it was intentional.) Players on the court don't like niceties of parsing out microns of difference in the rules. They know a mugging and when it isn't called, "Those to who evil is done Do evil in return." Refs better be fair or there will be a re-run of Ohio St-Minnesota and Luke Witte.

The guy went looking for a uva player to land on. Absolutely a T. No call. Not even a word of warning. Calipari had it right: call ALL the fouls. Go back to the way the game was called at the beginning of the season.
