Does the fact that he hasn’t been fired yet indicate he’ll be here next year or is there still a chance he is let go?

I don’t see what sense it would make to keep him through the bowl game, for either party
The only thing I could think of is to maintain some continuity and allow Coen some time to assess the situation after he leaves his NFL gig early next month. Obviously with recruiting and the portal, you couldn’t wait on the Scan/Coen move.

Why would Yenser agree to be a lame duck when he would need to go out and get a job now? I see no change.

If he hasn't been let go by now, he's here for next season. Yenser has played a BIG PART in Keenum staying committed and getting the transfer LT from No. Ill. 90% of Yenser's problems were created by the former OC's HORRIBLE scheme!!

Yenser produced three wins in three years at Kansas. If the "brother hood" of college football wants to keep him a job I'm sure they will. This guy has been terrible everywhere he has been, but I suppose Coen can save him.

Why fire him he was more of a victim than anyone! He inherited a shitshow
Not really, he just did a horrible job last year. We had guys with experience and talent in the line. Everyone kept saying the previous guy never rotated players in, well…..I didn’t see Yesner doing that either.

Stoops can’t fire all 3 guys he hired a year later so guess that gives him one more year.

His unit underperformed more than any other…if he stays …I’ll trust Coen I guess. But Yenser was worse even than Scangerello imo
I usually agree with most of your post but not this one ! I think he deserves a bye for at least this year now if they underperform next year the recruiting falls for the BBW then yeah

He will be here next year. The problems wasn’t all on him.

His unit besides playing players out of position was FORCED to run a zone scheme that was not remotely compatible with the type of lineman that we have on the roster.

We are clearly a man on man power scheme team and we should look day and night better with the correct scheme.

That's unless Coen tries to keep the zone like he originally installed when he got here before Stoops nixed it but I don't see that happening when us continuing to bring in power lineman and not smaller agile lineman.
