Does this performance on the road change your mind about the season

It does.
I'm more positive now than I was beforehand.

We have enough inside if they don't foul out lol

We have the talent to go a long way in March. Not many teams go into Kansas and take them to OT.

My view hasn't changed , I thought we'd struggle then put together some nice games . Then lay a confusing dud , some more improvements and be poised for a tournament run .

Yes. I was never fully off the bandwagon anyway.

It's one thing to drill Mizzou and Vandy in Rupp. It's entirely different to take KU to OT in Allen Fieldhouse in a game in which you know they wanted revenge. We played very well. We will probably drop a couple more, but no one 1 or 2 seed will want us in their region.

It just reinforces the improvements the team has made the past 2 weeks. Willis contributing, Poy being more consistent, and Ulis just playing like an All-American. Losses hurt, but this wasn't isn't a negative.

I am very proud the way UK played tonight. If we had a strong post player we could have won. Ulis is the best pg in collage bb.

we are playing like a final four team. if our guys just keep this up, we will be in Houston the first weekend in April

Well, I know this. KU is ranked No. 4, and Kentucky would beat them 7-8 times out of 10 on a neutral court. So yes, that should be reason for optimism.

This performance ticks me off when I think about some of our past performances because it is a clear indication that we had no business losing to some of the dog for teams that we have lost to this season.

I'm still debating. I don't know if we have enough inside to get it done.
This is my 50th year following Kentucky basketball. I am hard pressed to remember FOUR bigs fouling out in a game. I am not sure any team in the country can foul out FOUR bigs and survive.
I think we are going to make a deep run in March. And I agree...NOBODY that is a 1 or 2 wants UK in their region

When you look at all the facts:
-kU doesn't lose at home
-they still tasted the drubbing they took last year
-they were desperate for a win, they lost 3 out of 5 games
-we lost to Auburn a couple weeks ago
-a huge free throw disparity

And we had a chance, a good chance at that, to win in regulation. I like where we are at IN JANUARY. Cal still has over a month to get this team ready. That's a ton of time.
Put this team as a 4 in Villanova's bracket and I'll be buying FF tickets.

Let the Wynard thing go already. What makes you believe he can help us rebound? Don't you think he would be playing if the coaching staff thought him to be of benefit to the team?
No, I don't know why he hasn't been playing. Our rebounding is weak.

I've always thought this team would be good come March but concerned now that Ulis is going to be worn out by then playing 37 minutes a game. Cal better start looking at the big picture because if Ulis is not fresh there is little chance UK thrives.
