Lol. I played for a horrible Intramural team in 1997, we scrimmaged the EKU woman's team twice. WE CURBED STOMPED THOSE BROADS. They went on to win the OVC, and made the NCAA tournament.

Not that I don’t believe you, but just curious - how did your horrible intramural team end up scrimmaging the women’s team twice? Do you remember how that was arranged?

That reminds me of a Male high inter-school rivalry that I just made up in my head:
I heard that the female Male team feebly mailed a male femur to the male Male team.
But the male Male team failed to feel threatened by the feeble mailing from the Male females.
I don't know the details of that one or how it gets set up, but I've read tons of stories like this. Women's college teams practice against intramural men, WNBA teams have male practice squads made up of teenagers and post-college guys who can't make any pro league.
Not to knock on UK Hoops, but as an example, our girls team literally scrims against random guys on campus who volunteer.

I’m certain any group of guys that have played the game at a high school level and excelled in the slightest could beat any WNBA team.
I’ve seen the best women around get destroyed by guys who didn’t play any level of college ball.
Wow, i think most D1 colleges could probably beat a WNBA team. Have a hard time with most high schools. But that’s just my opinion. I’ve seen some really bad high school teams that would be undersized against most WNBA teams.
Would be interesting to see it played though.
I’ve seen a first round WNBA draft pick struggle against regular dudes at the JC in Lexington. They just aren’t built for physical contact sports like guys are.
A lot of male high school basketball players aren’t built for physical contact sports either.
You’re right but they aren’t whining that they aren’t making the amount of money that nba players are. When they would probably sell the same amount of tickets to watch them play as the WNBA does

Griner couldn't beat a single NBA starter, probably not even a 6th 7th or 8th man. I don't know how this argument keeps coming up. They aren't as good and no one watches their sport. Meanwhile, men and women Volleyball players at the peak of their game make almost IDENTICAL. Why? Because both mens and women have a roughly equal fanbase.
Supply and demand at it's finest. People would pay thousands to bed Kate Upton.. no one would pay me a nickle. Should I start whining? Demanding equal pay for a WAAAAY worse sexual experience?

She could not beat any player on any NBA team. Not even once if she played them 100 times each.
Heh, I was erring on the extreme side of caution. Like "Don't walk outside, a plane engine *could* fall on you!". There's college players at low-majors who would beat Griner. Their product just isn't there.. it's nonexistent.
Yep I did. I think I could hold my own. But here’s the thing. I played against a lot of guys in high school who I was a lot better than then and theyre like 5’10” and can’t even see their shoes now due to their obesity. Do you have confidence in those guys to beat 6’5” Sylvia Fowles?
If they were serious about beating her then yes because I’m sure the woman would be serious about beating any guy that says they can beat her
