or is it just me? I don't seem to remember as many vocal posters from other fanbases over the last few years. Do you like having their participation, or do you look at them through troll-colored glasses?

no-doubt we have more since the bans were lifted
as long as they are respectful i enjoy good bb discussion
the first time they become a problem they need a timeout
the second time, give them a permaban

GSD from the UNC board is a good example
he got banned for cursing people and calling them some vulgar names
since his ban has been lifted for the most part he has been respectful on THIS board.
i do not agree with banning someone for what they say on another board. that would lower our mods to the UNC mod levels (cowards)

I don't like it. I don't care about their crappy little teams. I don't care about their crappy little opinions. I don't care about their crappy little lives. And as long as they hang out here, I won't. They bore me. Get rid of all of them. Seriously.

I think most of us have been pretty well behaved, for house guests!

Hey, you have a big and vocal fan base, and a very active off-season board. Talking basketball is talking basketball.

Have you seen the boards of these other programs? I don't mind guys who want to talk basketball doing it here. It is an implicit acknowledgement that Kentucky is the center of the college hoops universe.

I think the rules should be clear, and they are the ones I follow on the rare times I visit another team's board: Expect some abuse and don't be thin skinned about it; and don't come on as overly aggressive. You don't have to 'win' an argument with Kentucky fans on a Kentucky board. State your point of view, and accept that its a minority perspective.

Some are good some not so good.

Doesn't bother me much unless they start getting obnoxious, then they can get banned for all I care. Definitely seems like more to me for such a dead time of the season though. During the season I understand why we would see more on here.

I don't mind the posters from other fan bases. It gives a different view on things. It's the ones that claim to,be UK fans that were banned, that have come back on here and started stirring the pot. The worst thing it was like a week or two, after the final, four and this board lit up with all the returnees. Not good timing

Doesn't bother me, I just hit ignore when I see that someone consistently has an awful/negative/trolling agenda as it relates to our program/coach (that goes for both "UK fans" and rivals alike), and others are free to do the same to me if they don't like what I've got to say. Pretty cool setup if you ask me.
