Does Lexington figure to host anymore NCAA Tournament games?

Haven't heard anything about Lexington being an NCAA host site in the near future.

Is this something Lexington is no longer interested in doing, or have they tried and just been outbid?

Nothing through 2018. They are hosting Women's Regionals the next year years.

Maybe it is an effort to not give UofL an advantage of giving them a close place to play.

Frankly, I hope not. I hope any NCAA tourney game in the Commonwealth of Kentucky happens in Louisville so UK gets every chance to play there. Every UK fan should hope for the same

It was kinda fun though when we got to host the Final Four in 1985...with Villanova being the lowest seed (8) ever to win a championship and needed a near perfect second half (only missed one basket) to do so.
