Moody averaging 23.8 ppg on a 10-2 team. 2nd guy (Saiz) averages 11/10.

2 losses (George Mason/Seton Hall) at same tournament neutral site; otherwise they are undefeated on the road.

I think this should be the strategy, but has Cal ever really focused on shutting down one player?

This is the key to the game IMO.

I think we also see nothing but zone in this one also.

Cal has said many times he doesn't worry about the other team. He only worries about his own team.

Moody scorched us for 25 points when he came in here and Ole Miss almost beat us in OT last season. Hawkins didn't play one minute in that game.
Have a feeling he will get the Moody assignment this time around,

With Briscoe back, I think it will be a combination of he and Hawkins.

But it sure looks to me like if you shut him down, or at least slow him down, this takes them down a big notch.

Looking at the Memphis game @ Memphis, Moody got 16 1st half points and led by 12 at the break. The Tigers barely threatened after that. Early foul trouble on Moody sure would help us get going early.

Moody will get his points give or take a few. Key is we get ours! Doubt he will blow up on us tho. Cats will win this one which is what really counts.

I'd rather see the focus be on shutting down everyone else and just put one man on Moody and say do your best. Moody isn't going to score 50+
