Does anyone know some of our boosters? What are they saying?

I’m curious to what Jeff & Stacy have to say or are thinking, 2 great players that obviously know the game. I’d love to hear their thoughts and conversations about our inability to make in game adjustments then some of these lineups we put out there. The lack of plays is mind blowing, throw it around the perimeter for 20 secs then have a big come set a ball screen……there’s zero movement away from the ball.
A lot of times, there is no upside to speaking up. I do know there are multiple former players that don't respect Cal's attitude or floor coaching abilities.
Lol, didn't you just make a thread yesterday when TN lost that losing in the SEC tournament can be a good thing because it can refocus a team?
Sometimes these conference tourny losses like EweT today are helpful.
They can get a bad game out of their system before the NCAA. Its gonna cost them any hope of a 1 seed though.

I don't give half a damn about whatever the original argument was - I was just saying "f off" because I knew it was a troll. What school the troll originates from is irrelevant but I was just randomly throwing out a guess of a couple schools that are active online AND doing well at the moment (teams like Duke and UT have trolled us plenty but they both just lost like we did). I don't really care where they're from.
As long as Cal get home im time to sit around and enjoy some TV time is what matters in March. How the hell is both top seeds home already. Pathetic and Cal should resign next week when he losses to the first team he plays that has a real coach.

I think the boosters are the ones who went all in and came up with the lifetime contract. They're in too deep.
They all got spooked when the NBA was sniffing around and didn't want another Pitino situation.
Also, I think a decent number of them kind of like the OAD/NBA camp model. They like the big stage trips to MSG...and on and on...all the showtime type drama that has become UK basketball. A good chunk of them like Cal, which is a good thing I suppose, you want the money to like the coach. Otherwise, it could be a mess in the other direction, making changes every 3-5 like most football programs.
Too be fair, a good healthy portion of the fanbase bought in too. Start off every season with a bang, top recruiting class, end every season with a good draft night. All the drama that comes with recruiting these days. They also like all the UK in the NBA stuff.
Hell, half this board is nonstop recruiting talk. People wouldn't know what to do with 4-5 guys returning and not needing to recruit the biggest hottest names that will bounce to the league.

I have thought the same thing . My uneducated guess is Cal has screwed the ten percent chance we had of Reed coming back . Why would a lottery pick want to play for a coach who doesn’t play his best players in order to further two other player pro careers .
I hate the NBA and what out of control pro contracts have done to America. I never watch a pro game knowing nine out of ten of those mega millionaires would not give the common fan who pays his salary the time of day .
JMO but, I think the big money boosters are more about access and the glamour of being "close" to the coach, AD and the people that they interact with. They like the good seats or suites, preferred parking, being invited to a practice occasionally and being wined and dined. Most of them likely have very little knowledge of the game itself and have little interest in the program's tradition.
There might be a small few who aren't like this but, they would be the exceptions.
