Does anyone have even an ounce of trust in 247 anymore?

Yeah over half of our fanbase was wrong, heck I was even questioning if Cal has this one or not but with Evans not fully buying in to him going to Dook gave me hope.

The crystal ball has its place. It gives you an idea what the analysts perceive a kid is thinking. But that's all. It's just not the be all-end all some people think it is. It's probably correct more often than not, but I laugh at people who say it's a done deal for a kid because his crystal ball has said the same thing for a long time.

Knox' recruitment was weird and it's a perfect example of why the CB can't be relied on. Nobody really had a feel on it and people just put their picks in based on tangible evidence they could see, which didn't tell the whole story. When a kid stays quiet about it, there's really no telling what's going through his head and this was a perfect example of that.

All you can do is read the tea leaves as best you can. They go by secondhand info from friends couches the family etc. I think the bars all along has been not Kentucky, and for the most part it's probably been fairly accurate. These kids often times gets stuck trying to persuade the parents to let them go where they want. Sounds like Knox one late in the game.

wasn't everyone here telling Cal to stop going after Knox and focus on Johnson...

No one really knows. It's okay. I don't really use 247 stuff anyways. Everyone is guessing.

I trust it as long as UK is not involved. I think that UK's tight lips leads to bad info from other schools.

Most of our fan base was just saying to go get Cam Johnson & Mo Bamba and forget about Knox. I had a feeling that once Cameron Johnson was available and the talent he brings to the team in shooting the 3 and rebounding. I had saw Cam Johnson in a few games this year and the one game that really impressed me was the UNC when Cam Johnson went 9/12 shooting and 6/9 from 3 point for 24 points. He was shooting over 40% from 3 this year with Pittsburgh. When we saw that Coach Cal wasn't really go hard after Cam Johnson especially with his 3 point shooting ability and knowing he could step on the court next year and have 2 years with us I thought then that Coach Cal was still confident in getting Knox. Then after the In-home visits with UK, Duke, and UNC, and the other teams we knew Coach Cal then had an idea if he thought Knox would come to UK or if he thought he was heading to UNC, Duke, or Florida State. All the experts thought with the amount of talent Kentucky coming in next year the Knox for sure was heading to a ACC school. When Cam Johnson made his visit at UK and Coach Cal already having his in-home visit with Knox I would have thought if Coach Cal had an idea that Knox was heading to a ACC school he would have really went hard after Cam Johnson and would have hoped to hear that weekend after the visit he would transfer to UK. Once all that didn't happen is when I thought that Coach Cal still thought he had an outstanding shot landing Knox tonight which he did. There is one thing for sure about Coach Cal and that is never count him out on any player he is really wanting and recruiting because in the end Coach Cal usually gets that player he wants.

I wish we would've got Cam instead of Knox for his experience alone. I doubt many share my opinion, but I trust in Cal over me. Ha ha.

The new weather men. Just guessing the forecast.

I do since they get way more right than wrong. Of course you'll have some not to bright people who see them get something wrong and think that's he norm

That woman must not be a very good weather person. She can't seem to afford clothes. Apparently she has to settle for what she can scrounge from the Goodwill. Her dress and underwear are obviously not her size. Poor girl.

Where the Duke guys screwed up so badly on the Knox recruitment was being so smug and arrogant about it. The way Chad Lykins dropped in on the Duke board a few days ago and basically said, 'Stop worrying about it, this one is over'.

Then there was the episode on Sunday morning about two weeks ago where Slater inexplicably put in a pick for Mizzou, sending that fanbase into a frenzy, then just as inexplicably a few hours later changing it back to Duke.

Of course, these guys will never come out later and say what exactly they heard and from whom, because it would reveal the incestous web of speculation and rumor and often wishful thinking and personal bias that is passed off as "insider information".

Cannot imagine why things like the Knox decision would have any effect in our confidence in a web site that guesses what teenagers are going to do. They have no way of knowing what is going on but it is still fun to see what they say.
