That UK will have everyone available (ie Jones, Robinson, Flax and anyone hurt in the MS ST game) that is not out for the year, ready for the Vols?

If we somehow do, the Tennessee Vols are in for a tussle.

So all in all, not bad injury wise for UK at this time of the year....but the bye week is much needed.

Why do you say Jones probably out? He will have not played football since at Ole Miss on Oct. 1 , thats a full 4 weeks to recover from what, a high ankle sprain?

I think it's more like a foot injury is what UK is reporting.....UK is being vague for sure. I think it is more likely a broken bone in foot than an ankle sprain. But I don't for sure.

The loss of Geiger and Tisdale really hurts going into the UT game. We need big time leadership from Ajian, Valentine and the rest. In particular our upperclassmen need to take the Hyatt matchup personally. Kid is lights out but he’s just a frosh.

I caught the tail end of the pregame show Saturday talking about Jones. I did not hear the first part of their conversation but the last thing they said was something to the effect of maybe not being back for the bowl? Did anyone else hear that because I could be totally wrong on what they was talking about just catching the end. Thought I heard Jones name but they could have been talking about someone or something else. Just the way I took what little I heard. Jones is our best defensive player and we need him really bad. Jackson doing a pretty good job but you don't replace that experience and speed at that position.

Jones makes more plays and is faster. Runs players down all over the field. Of course, this is JMO. To me, Jones the most consistent player on the D on the team, play in and play out.

Is jones using his Covid year or can he come back. Wonder if he’s unable to return this would he come back if he has a vivid year???? If we don’t get him back this year I don’t think that his NFL stick is really all that high may be a candidate to come back assuming he’s a SR.

what really sucks for the kid if he doesn’t come back is he got hurt in his 5th game so there goes applying for a medical RS

It hurt for those games as well. But it especially hurts for TN because their receiver corps is far and away the best we will face all year.
