Refreshing to have a player say that when he's on the team. Not just while being recruited or a Kentucky kid.
People don't grow up dreaming of playing for Alabama basketball. Sorry, Nate Oats. Kentucky will always be king of the sec.
Pretty refreshing vs 5 star Freshman that never gave 2 shits about being here.
Even when playing in a final four at bama he was dreaming of uk. Him and aberdeen are big time winners always pining for uk.
I saw the interview on WLEX (or whatever it is) on YouTube, what a great addition. Seems like he already has a nice chemistry with Oweh and the team. Another great team, can’t wait to see them in action.
P.S. They also did an interview with Aberdeen, I really like him too! Both seem really mature, focused and want to improve their games even more!

Mo D is going to play that MKG role on this team. He has that kind of toughness and tenacity, he's going to be a star and I'm stoked to have him on this squad.
Mo, Oweh, Aberdeen, JQ and Lowe, are 5 tough, hard nosed and talented guys on the floor. That's a top 5 defensive team that can also really score.

There were UK fans that thought our recruiting would actually die if Calipari left. He really had a lot of people snowed. Every coach we’ve had in my lifetime has gotten players. Even Billy G got Patterson, Orton, Liggins, Miller, Harrelson.
Tubby’s recruiting gets overlooked as well. I’m pretty sure he actually got more high school AA’s than Pitino.
This place recruits itself to a degree. It turns out a fan base that loves the sport and will follow you everywhere matters to a lot of these kids.
What most champions have is a guy that is clutch. I don’t know who that would be??
Hopefully Lowe takes a huge step in Popes system.
And, he's got a better shot. If he could even APPROACH being the utilitarian piece that MKG provided while still giving perimeter shooting, he will be VERY HARD to keep off the court.
