Dingle staying at UK

Yes it is very good news. Dingle has a nice set of hands for a pass receiver, and Vandagriff will be throwing it around. With this being said, I still expect 2024 to be a breakout season for Khamari Anderson who has almost unlimited upside and toughness.
Good news...
UK has a two headed depth chart at TE for years to come. And we run tons of double TE sets and thusly need a bunch of them.
1. One TE is a better blocking TE spots. Kattus for sure and a kid that when you see him play....Tenner LeMaster. His size is just unreal for a TE. He is eye opening big...and not fat. A tall and sculpted kid. He's eye opening in persokn
2. The other is more a pass catcher spot..Dingle for sure is here and Khamari Anderson.
HOpefully we can hold on to Willie Ridriguez as we have a good TE room. We just need to use it alot more.

Porter and Dingle both welcome portal returnees. So far I think the portal is once again a huge plus for us. Hate to loose Keaton Wade but I'm OK with all the other moves.
Unlikely. TN just took a more experienced TE out of the portal. They don't need Dingle now.
Stoops said he was working through some of the portal guys re-recruiting them. Dingle and Porter were definitely part of that conversation. BIG TIME GET!
Tennessee got a commitment Thursday from a 5 star tight end transfer from Notre Dame. Let’s not read into this any more than we have to. Marrow covering for his boy which is what he should do. As for Rodriquez, he looks a bit fat for a tight end.

No. Actually I caught sight of him on the Tennessee sideline wearing the head coaching headset. If you don’t like it, you can always butt out Clyde.

What has happened with Porter and Dingle is quite rare in the portal era. Around 5% of guys who enter the portal reverse, take their name out, and stay.
True. But the situation is a little unusual too, with Vandagriff and a new WR coach on their way in.
Could be wrong but I think Dingle believed he was headed to Knoxville. Then TN took Holden Staes out of the portal and suddenly didn't have a scholarship for Dingle.
In Porter's case, not playing much in 2023 was probably a bit of a blow to his pride. Maybe he lost faith in Woodward. Maybe he knows now who our new WR coach will be.
Have the right number now, too crowded with Cummings, want the ones we have to get PT and stay happy.
