Did they make a rule against clock management?

Watched the end of the NIU game after Tarleton State game (Beau Allen had 3 passing TDs in their win).

EIU has the ball with 2min left down 7 to NIU and no timeouts left. They cross midfield and get a first down at about the NIU 35. There's 22 seconds left after they complete a short pass in the middle of the field, but it's only 2nd down. 22 seconds left.

I'm thinking, clock it, huddle, get 2-3 more plays... then I'm raising my voice a little... clock it... then I'm like CLOCK IT, WTF are you DOING?! THEY RUN ONE PLAY. Short pass in the middle of the field. First down, but 2 seconds left on the clock.

How do I get a HC gig at a midmajor... just for a year, so I can do stupid sht at the end of games and waste opportunities. Guess its OK at EIU. WTF

Hell, Brohm just mismanaged the clock.on consecutive series and gave PSU way too much time to win the game. I u derstand playing to win but no excuses for not playing the highest percentages to win.
