It is almost too good to be true...

Between Pitino's comments on how "lucky" they were to get Bowen (luckiest CRP has ever been btw), their idiot posters always accusing us of cheating, and I just remembered this article from a few months ago...

The Louisville assistant coach and head recruiter is feeling awfully good about himself.

" I think the fact that he (Brian Bowen) knew that he would have somebody, you know, more invested in him than anywhere else he could be and that really attracted him."

More invested. As in, 'my Hall of Fame coaching reputation on the line by cheating to get him there' investment.

Thanks for digging that I up. It ran thru my head last night that KJ had mouthed off after Bowen had committed. I was thinking it was something he had tweeted. Definitely remembered it was a shot at UK regarding recruiting, etc.

Between this guy using the term "invested" and Pitino going on about how they didn't spend money to recruit him, it sure sounds like money was on their minds... Pretty unreal.
