Even though Kentucky actually has claim to the checkerboard thing, as well as a reason for it, it's junk on those football uniforms and I dont like it in any sport really. Just go with a clean traditional look, changing whats not broken is always a bad idea.

I don't think the players actually like the checkerboards (didn't Fox say something about not liking them on social media). I agree a classic white/blue is all we need.

I hadn't seen this discussed, but I was reading a KSR blurb that Peevy said UK reached out to IU to be in the CBS sports classic. The idea was to have the teams with the most championships: UK, UCLA, UNC, and IU. I guess I don't remember ever hearing this, just found it interesting they'd turn down a high profile game. Plus I always wondered why OSU was included, seemed out of place.
