Observations:
-The closest I can compare Leary is 2006 Woodson and Towles 2014 with a lower % but similar YPA. The drops and missed throws early on have kept him from putting up huge numbers, but they're pretty good. But considering the low %, he's hitting some big plays. MSU, SC, and UofL will be come great opportunities to continue for him to put up some good numbers to finish strong.

-Levis through 8 starts last year honestly wasn't that bad passing the ball. You can see his overall numbers weren't bad...but the injuries brought him down. The BAD OL really is the culprit of last year and the injuries...

-Neal Brown and Patrick Towles had something going in 2014. I'm very high on Neal Brown and the QB development and the skill guys he brought in during his short tenure. He was a WR coach previously...if Woodward were to go and WVU moved on... I would love NB in as CO-OC with Liam Coen. Would be a another good recruiter and HC experience to help on staff.

-Joker gets credit...but Randy Sanders was truly the unsung hero of the Brooks era. Our best QB development since Mumme was under him...and he didn't have much to work with. You saw at FSU their QB development stalled when he left...and he was great at ETSU as HC.

-Terry was Terry...but many talk about how much better SJ was and I just never saw it. SJ had much better deep threats and explosive players around him. Both limited and not SEC QBs, but we're much harder on Terry. I think Terry would've been a bit better if you give him Badet as a deep threat and Juice as a reliable target.
