Despite playing poorly props to Poy

I don't know where he disappeared to for most of the game, but I'm glad he showed up for us in the clutch.

He made 4 clutch free throws down the stretch and had 2 big rebounds in the last minute as well. We will go as far as he takes us and I glad to see him play well when it mattered most like he did in the tourney 2 years ago.

Yeah, I agree. I was disappointed by the no show for 97.5% of the game. But when we absolutely needed him to be that senior leader he stepped up.

This team will go as far as Ulis, Murray, and to a lesser degree, Briscoe, take them. We just have to hope on a given night we get decent play from a couple of our interior guys, because it's an absolute lock that at least one will no show every game.

I like Poy and I keep rooting for him, but doing nothing to the point where anything is good is unacceptable.

Briscoe has come on really nice the last few games. He's getting more and more confident. I like the way he plays.

Poythress is what he is.

Absolutely, that's why getting any scoring from the bench that we can is crucial. Only problem is, all of those guys come with their own unique deficiencies as well, so it's sort of a double-edged sword. I can see why Cal is having trouble getting a read on them, but he's got to keep trying.

What a surprise Mr.Mctrollytrollerson has this to say. Wish I hadn't unblocked the post to read the drivel. Its not that you are totally wrong but the point is to play to win the game and he made the winning plays when it mattered.

If he would've played well, it wouldn't have come down to a few rebounds and free throws at the end of the game. And there's nothing wrong about that. Stop being sensitive and grow up.

Lol... yeah I dig that. The guys that can defend can't make plays on offense. And the guys that can shoot have costly lapses on the defensive.

Cal and company are playing Jenga, hoping everything doesn't topple over.

The zone kept the ball away from Alex most of the game. You need someone who can jump stop to the free throw line and throw a lob.. Darius Miller could bust a zone with a lob to Davis like a zone bustin clinic.
