I was spending some time on Ken Pom's site this morning and noticed something...
If you look at the below table - Kentucky just beat the #2 Adjusted Offense in the country (Notre Dame) - Plays the #1 Adjusted Offense in the Country next (Wisconsin). Then (assuming a win), Kentucky will probably play either the #3 (Duke) or the #4 (Gonzaga) rated Adjust offense in the country in the Championship game.
Doesn't hurt that Kentucky has the #6 rated offense to go with the #1 rated defense, but, I found that interesting -the last three games leading to a championship would be #2, #1, then #3 or #4 offense.
When Kentucky wins, you can say that proves the adage "Defense wins Championships"...
