Yes ...it's most certainly defense!
The defense has performed poorly outside of the Florida game this year. Talent wise it was supposed to be our best, but our bend and break strategy is just not working out. Third and 17 and the QB could of had a door dash delivery made.
Well, when you're giving up close to 43 points on average in your four losses this season, I'd say the primary reason lies on the other side of the ball than the offense. Not sure why you wanna try and die on this hill.
Unfortunately, they will spend their first year here trying to learn BW's "complicated " multiple defensive scheme.
Their second year will be spent playing on special teams and sitting behind multiple players with seniority and lesser talent.
Many will enter the Transfer Portal after their 2nd. year on the bench here, and go start for another team.
Those that stay for their third year will be in the rotation, getting minimum playing time unless the starter that is ahead of them gets injured.
For their 4th and final year, for those few who remain, CMS will allow the less talented, more experienced players to return for a 5th year and they will have to just wait their turn......or transfer.
When it is FINALLY their turn to play, CMS and VM will bring some reject from another team out of the portal to play ahead of them.
We can't understand why the team is not together and don't care about the team first. NIL. Transfer Portal.
Like l don't understand why you guys still think defense wins games when it dosen't . Why you all wanna die on that hill?

Never understand long DCs don’t bring pressure and don’t give QB time for their longer routes to develop and QB to get rid of it.
We rushed 4 on that play and with the time he had it wouldn’t have mattered if we dropped 10 back in coverage, any decent QB can pick it apart with time.
You and I can fill that in our gut watching it but the DC seems to rather HOPE with something less aggressive. In football more aggression is almost always the better path
The bend but don't break defense will work if you make plays when you need them......we don't. You can't get a team in a 3rd and 4 situation and let them pick up a first down over and over. That also applies to a 3rd and 18 and they pick up 21.
Dead Last in the Country in Plays Run per game and it is not even close. We only average 56 plays run per game and that is with Ball State, EKU, and Akron ! In fact that is the lowest total recorded over past ten years for any team in D-1 ! How much do we pay Stoops and Coen?
We seem to always be snapping the ball with 3 seconds or less on the clock.
Maybe, but also not letting your opponent score more. It takes both.

Oh for crying outloud man ...go look at their schedules and get back to us . You couldn't be more wrong, and it's not about a game here or a game there.
Would be great and certainly should be a goal for the coaches. Offense again one of the worst in the country. Scoring helps take pressure off defense to have to always be perfect. It's just the nature of fb in 2023.
