I think Pope has the guys he wants minus Osobor. I think over the next few days he will work to get that replacement and will get a true PF before others remove their name from the draft. Then he will have 3 more he can add.

I think we will be very good and by the time we get all the parts working together we could be extremely good. Not sure if Pope runs the same exact offense he had last year but he can run something similar.

This is the key.

Everyone going all in on the need for “a dude” and gauging the guys on the roster off that standard is looking at it through the lens of what the game has became with an over dependence on ball screens.

It’s clear the Pope is focusing on catch and shoot off screens bc it fits his system of nonstop off ball motion, zoom action, staggered screens etc.

Doesn’t mean you don’t go get one 3 level scorer that is capable of iso when needed…that’s probably Jax Robinson spot that’s being saved for him. One more backup big would be nice too

He appears to be, yes. But, let’s face it, he didn’t have much of a choice. Will be interesting to see a couple years down the road what his recruiting classes will look like.
