DeAaron Fox Season Opener (Highlights)

i love how efficient he was scoring on basically a forced break, which is what cal loves to see.

Yep, and I saw a monk video that blew me away too with Monk's head on the rim athleticism. Question, aren't they both more John Wall type than great outside shooters?

annoying AF. Can't wait for that trend to go away. Kids scream it in pickup games like they think they're gonna shoot a FT. Screams "LOOK AT ME".

Also funny the amount of flopping Yates did in that video.
That's the cowards way of playing defense. They know they can't stop him strait up so they try that gimmick. I wish basketball would rip the offensive foul rule right out of the rule book. Either play defense or get out of the way.

Monk wasn't before but became an outstanding outside shooter in the last year. He can drive, shoot and dish. I'd call Fox a capable shooter. Both obviously are crazy athletic.

Was K there scouting? The white team was flopping all over the place. Play some damn D.

Just bought a ticket to see him play in Dallas on the 28th.

I'll assume the role of "Random UK Guy in the Front Row" that I've seen many of you play in the past.

I've seen Monk called out as one of the best 3-point shooters in the class. That said, none of the best guards in this class are tremendous shooters - Frank Jackson is probably the best, then Monk. DeAaron Fox has shown substantial improvement, which is a good sign. His shot isn't broke.

From looking at Fox' highlights above, looks like he drained several threes - would love to see his stats from the game. More importantly, his team won in a pretty close game.
