I hope not. That can also have varying degrees of bad, but if it's broken broken that's not good at all.Broken hand is what I’ve seen elsewhere.
Want to elaborate on that a bit more?He does not have a broken hand.
Let me do the honors: His hand is’nt broken.Want to elaborate on that a bit more?
The 27 bones that make up his hand do not have any cracks in themWant to elaborate on that a bit more?
Where did you see this? If so , pretty bush to be putting shit out that has not been confirmed. Starting rumors on the web is not going to make you popular.Broken hand is what I’ve seen elsewhere.
Multiple people posted it including media members online. I didn't start anything. I simply shared what others were posting. It was a legitimate concern and believable based on what happened in the game. It's social media and a message board so people are going to speculate and put out information. This is what happens when you dick around with these scrub teams and have to leave your starters in late in the game to seal it.
Pretty difficult to reconcile these three posts, but JR knows what he is talking about. He does not have a broken hand.
He definitely does and I am happy to hear that it wasn't a broken hand.Pretty difficult to reconcile these three posts, but JR knows what he is talking about.
That's the important thing. He definitely does and I am happy to hear that it wasn't a broken hand.
So now, football injuries are Stoops' fault. Our coach should know better than to use a player on a snap when he will get injured. Wonder what Ray Davis thinks about that theory. This is what happens when you dick around with these scrub teams and have to leave your starters in late in the game to seal it.
That was Jaggers injury forcing Cox to centerMy $0.02 cents worth: I heard he jammed his thumb.
Yes it looked like his wrist through my binoculars. JR says it isn't broken. Davis will walk over a bed of hot coals to play against Vandy. Doesn't concern me if he does or doesn't play against Akron. When I watched the replay next day, looked like they were working on his wrist.
Pretty surprised prior to the coen situation there wasnt more fan concern. Davis is a major, major piece of our puzzle.
Here you go again. Stoops has done this since he’s been here with these cupcake games. His teams go into these games with the mindset of not embarrassing them and the games are much closer than they should be. This results in us having to play starters late in the game to seal it, further risking injury. Plus it’s stupid to not get out to a big lead and actually get your reserves some minutes. Ever notice how we never have a back up quarterback ready to go?So now, football injuries are Stoops' fault. Our coach should know better than to use a player on a snap when he will get injured. I think it's entirely possible that Stoops and Co. are trying to get their brand new QB, RB, retooled OLine, and new-to-the-system WRs reps in Coen's system. I'm not convinced that we'd send in the twos even if we were up by 45 because of how many mental mistakes we're making. Here you go again. Would actually love to see what Jefferson is capable of with extended reps.Yes it looked like his wrist through my binoculars. JR says it isn't broken. Davis will walk over a bed of hot coals to play against Vandy. Doesn't concern me if he does or doesn't play against Akron.
I think he had 3 carries last week for 28 yards?... going by memory... I think they are easing him into more carries.Would actually love to see what Jefferson is capable of with extended reps.
Duly noted and thank you for the correction. I should think more clearly before posting. That was Jaggers injury forcing Cox to center
Davis had 15 touches. Do you really think that is excessive when you are trying to mesh a new RB 1 with a new QB1 with a retooled OL and a new OC?Here you go again. Well if you playing down to your comp and the starters have to play every single snap with no rest yes the risks of injuries increase but you can be hurt on play number 1 or in practice, hell you can fall down the steps at school and hurt your knee. Stuff happens. So now, football injuries are Stoops' fault. Our coach should know better than to use a player on a snap when he will get injured. Wonder what Ray Davis thinks about that theory.
Again, he had 15 touches (12 run, 3 pass). Is that really too many? Not even sure that is enough to get a running back in peak game shape. So what is the plan? Limit him to 6 touches? What about 8?Well if you playing down to your comp and the starters have to play every single snap with no rest yes the risks of injuries increase but you can be hurt on play number 1 or in practice, hell you can fall down the steps at school and hurt your knee. However we are probably the worst team ever at getting any kind of rest for our main players because we never get a big enough lead.
Friend of mine is Manager on UK Football team he said Davis is ok for AkronI heard it's some kind of rash....

The message board is full of rumors yet this is the one that gets you this upset. This "rumor" seems relatively tame compared to most.
Not 100% sure but I thought Stoops mentioned in post game that they were just getting Eli a few reps in game in CASE OF AN INJURY.Duly noted and thank you for the correction. I should think more clearly before posting.
At the end of a game where it's already decided, yes. No reason to risk injury there. What is a couple more carries? Is it worth Davis breaking his wrist and missing most of the season?Da
