NASSAU, BAHAMAS -- 11 five-star prospects were selected by Nike to play for the EYBL Select Team in the Bahamas. The players went through a pair of competitive practices and played against the Bahamian Select Team on Saturday. What stood out about the prospects?

Fox being THE best defender out front with his lateral quickness and play making ability makes him a top priority at the guard positions with Awkins sp?, Monk, Trent, etc the number two priorities IMO. It seems Fox and Awkins sp? for sure and then either Trent (who sounds like the best pure shooter) or Monk would be the best combination so we could continue with a three guard lineup. Also really like the way Bridges plays at the 3/4 positions.

I think Trent is 2017, unless he reclassified.

I could live with Fox, Monk, Alkins, and Bridges at the 1-4 spot, but Cal wants his size, so I don't look for that to happen.

I look for us to add Fox at the 1, Monk or Alkins at the 2, Bridges or Alkins at the 3, and add another big to go with Killeya-Jones inside.

The last big is a big question mark. Giles would be the best case, but no one is giving us much hope. I would be happy with Adebayo as well. Maker might be an option. Gabriel or Leaf could handle the 4 spot with Killeya-Jones playing the 5. Bolden might be an option.

i doubt you get bridges if you tell him he is or could play PF. i think fans are going out of their way in order to get the max number of guys since there are so many. i doubt this actually happens. it will be nothing sort of a miracle to get fox if ulis is still on the roster. let alone getting all three of monk, alkins, and bridges.
