Vandy is a damn talented team ( I mean who else has 2 guys will be both be top 20 picks? besides us )but they need to play like this mor often if they want to get into the dance . I think our toughest 2 road games left are at Vandy and at KU . UF is a top 30 team who has a few uber talents but they just can't score enough usually. They will be around a 10 seed in the dance but I think our team is built to beat a team like UF.
Where is that genius gator fan who said UF was winning the SEC title?
Big win for Vandy. After so many close and crappy losses, it's nice to actually win one. UF with two late 3's to make it look closer.

The same Vandy team that damn near beat KU earlier in the year too........ Its almost like they have 5 Skal's on the team .... everyone has lost confidence to the point their whole game went to crap.
Vandy must have played great while Florida played their worst game of the year. 
LOL you must not watch UF this year then as they are the best defensive team in the SEC ( though I think UK is becoming that ) . They have 3 sure fire draft picks and a few new guys that can play as well. UF is almost a lock for the tourney due to their schedule but the offensive side is why they lose games sometimes. LSU , UF USC ,Texas A&M and UK will make the dance . The question remaining is can a team like Vandy win enough to get the 6th dance card ?Florida =without Donovan back to shoveling

Watching Florida is like watching 5 Isaiah Briscoe's. Athleticism and defense but on offense they are building brick mansions.

What is the difference between Maui Vandy at the beginning of the year and now anyway? At the beginning of the season they looked like they would be a top 15 team, what happened?
1) Injuries really bogged us down, effected our chemistry and the boys lost some confidence.
2) We lost a lot of very close games where we blew big leads. We had double digit leads in 5 of our 8 losses.
On the bright side, we have won 4 out of 5 and as bad as we were against UK on Saturday, that only counts as one loss. I'm not convinced that the season is over. We have about a 50/50 shot of making the tournament and if we do make it, this team could be dangerous.
Outside of injuries, Riley LaChance has totally lost his swag this year and that is the biggest single factor as to why we have struggled. He's a good player, but he's gone a bit mental so Stallings has had to make some adjustments. If Riley can find his stroke and his confidence, we can become very good once again.
Kornet is healthy or close (had 4 pts, 9 rbs, and 6 blocks last night) and Jones is beginning to play a little (20 and 12 last night). With Kornet and Jones playing well, we can become a very good defensive team. We just need the offense to begin clicking.
