The defense was incredible after having a challenging first half, but it was really good to see CRod back. Brown is just one part of the future of this program, but DANG is he electric.
We as an offense, had some great plays called, blocked, and ready for big gains, but had some individual failures on the plays. Throws made late, balls dropped, missed kicks, not getting set before the snap, putting the ball on the ground, and when the plays broke down, not throwing the ball away to preserve the drive or field position. Definitely a TEAM loss, but some very good things to take away for future games.
When we stop stopping ourselves on offense, we'll be pretty damn good.
The defense was outstanding. Great plays by Jones and Lovett. We can take another step forward still on defense. Haven't played our best game yet. Rushers/blitzers need to get their hands up and need to tackle through the ball carrier a little more than we are now. Need to have our heads up and be ready EVERY play.
