I was wrong as he picked bama. All I know was his decision was not bama last night when I spoke to them. When she began to cry on stage I knew something was up. Ill find out later on tonight why the change of heart.
Until then im eating my crow salad.
GO BIG BLUE

I'll give you credit, you came back here, the kid said since the iron bowl, that was a month ago?
Nice try though!!!!

Just stop, now.

He's known for at least over a month. "I know before anyone else knows" guy strikes again.

I doubt anyone gives a %^$# what you "find out" tonight. You never knew a thing.

I do think Bama was his choice not Momma's. Without her blessing he is probably a Cat right now.

Actually I want to hear his story... in full detail. Don't necessarily buy it, but I am curious to hear what he is going to come up with. lol

Damian is close to his mother and his grandmother who is elderly. that was one of the main factors that was going to keep him at Kentucky so she will be able to go and see him play and not have to make that long trip to Alabama or Ohio State.
you can hate me because he chose to go to Alabama instead of Kentucky only thing I was doing was trying to provide first hand knowledge as I talk to the family all the time.
just face it he changed his mind and decided to go to college where he has a great shot of obtaining a national championship.I'm happy for him and the rest of you should be too

Do you speak with the parents, Damien, both? Is that what you are saying?

I'm not surprised by this at all. He said months ago that he wasn't going to play in an Air Raid System. He wanted to play in a pro offense behind some huge lineman. Have you watched our OL play the last three years. I don't blame him.

Actually what he said was that Garris was UK bound PERIOD, mark it down, he's coming to UK, which is fine except that Harris chose Alabama. So in other words if he had inside info it was bad.
Now I don't hate you, and I wish the kid as much success as I wish any other teams back success.

Well considering where you go to college is your choice as a man or woman, not your parents, I guess he did what he thought was best for him.

Unless of course your parents are paying the bill and they say "NO we aren't if you go there!" which has happened to people I went to HS with back in the day, but that is not the case here obviously as Harris gets a full ride.

I don't hate you. You said it was a done deal, he was coming to UK, no if's, and's, or but's about it. You said he had decided for months.

Fact is he has had his decision made for months. But it was for Alabama. You never knew a damn thing.

As Bobby Boucher would say "No Col Sanders you're wrong, mama's right".

I applaud you for coming back and taking the heat. Personally, I believe that you had been told something - if you were a troll or jsut guessing you would've just dissapeared and changed your screen name.

I, for one, am very interested to hear what happened, and would love to hear what you find out? I also did not think Damien not his mother looked particularly happy during the announcement - any chance he reconsiders in the next month?

What is a pro offense anymore? More and more pro teams resemble college except they don't like utilizing the qb runs

It's all good. I'm disappointed that he's not gonna be a Cat, but I'm not blaming a poster on here who was sharing info.

hey, we still have a month to prove he made a mistake...........he seems to love mom, granny and especially little sister very much.....so why would he make it so hard on them to travel by car overnight to games......did Bama offer flights to games...?

Must be where you have a first down just outside the thirty in the NC semifinal game and have two backs that have averaged about 4.5 and 7 YPC and throw it every down, is that it?

If that's it then Bama runs a pro offense..

No, they will offer her a job and a nice house with a creative lease, its how they got Rueben Foster away from AU after he had a full AU tat put on his arm, and reportly the Evans kid who went to HS in AU. Bama doesn't have to cheat anymore to recruit very well, they have just done it so long they can't help it. You should ride through Bama player's parking lot and see all the new Chargers, mostly red. Trent Richardson grew up in the projects, but while a student at Bama was able to accumulate not 1 but 2 houses and a nice ride, all the wile being a fulltime student and athlete. They had a staff member giving "loans" to players last year. Half the NCAA rulebook is because of Bama and AU. SEC or not, I won't pull for them in any bowl. But hopefully the next SEC commish won't be a Bama puppet and they get reeled in some.

Ahh, the old "something happened and he must have changed his mind at last minute" BS. Sure thing.

I have no reason to doubt you but this is just disgraceful.

I still had some faint hopes the joke of an NCAA might do at least some little thing to punish our neighbors to the west and south, but seems like that isn't ever going to happen. It is difficult but I think we can pass them up anyway even with our handicaps, at least the one to the west.

Yes, but when the NCAA said Cam's daddy asking for money wasn't important because Cam wasn't aware of it, it was open season in the SEC west. Bama had a computer glitch a few years back, since Saban came back, that give a few of their football players multiple sets of text books, In a school of 30k+ students, one would think a random computer glitch would hit on at least 1 of those 30k not on the football team, but seems that glitch was centered on that 85 and affected over half of them, lucky coincidence I guess. One of their disassociated boosters has signing day when Bama stars sit in his store and signs autographs, just out of the goodness of their hearts for the Bama fans. All kinds of shady deals take place in that state.

I certainly appreciate your info. Unlike most on here, you are occasionally wrong.

If you are eating crow salad watch out for the white stuff, it might not be salad dressing.

My only question is if you have contact with the family whether there are any second thoughts by him, and is there any chance that he could change his mind. It doesn't sound like it, and it sounds like all the negativity by the fans (and maybe even the staff) might make that even more unlikely.

GRUMPY- Your posts are always spot on. Always interesting hearing what you have to say.

Well, it seems we're never going to hear the follow up story.

That's a shame.

GRUMPY.......next you will tell me UGA is playing by the rules?

I like your info, but, don't BS folks by saying only Bama and Auburn are the only "dirty players" in the SEC.

Unless he's a pathological liar, he said knew he was going to Alabama on Dec 29th. So someone is not telling the truth.
