Washington Commanders running back, Chris Rodriguez, took several snaps with the first team offense on day three of training camp.

What Crod done here is amazing. I love Benny but if Crod got the carries that Benny did the record would be his and it wouldn't be close.
Not many running backs can have our line issues last year, miss 4 games and still be almost a 1000 yard rusher. That's hard enough with a good line. Crod is the best back in school history imo. I hope he does well. Shows how undervalued he was 6th round pick, taking reps with 1st team is really rare.

I like CROD too but he blew that record himself. He was suspended on multiple occasions. He would have gotten the carries Benny got if he had kept his nose clean. UK never wanted to promote CROD as an ambassador of the program the way they did Benny. There’s a reason for that.
I do not doubt CRod can succeed in the NFL if he is in the right system.
Getting first-team reps as a 6th round pick is pretty damn good.
I hope he succeeds.
But this is the time of year where nfl hypes every late round pick and undrafted free agent.
There will be a story that someone like CJ Conrad is impressing in camp.
And then the next week he's cut.

Not that's determinative, but rb is a position today's NFL prefers to fill with lower round guys. So his draft position definitely shouldn't rule out the possibility he could be a key contributor
