Lost by 14 to a then 15-12 St John's and move up 3 spots.
I know they also beat UConn, but come on.

Don't tell me that washed up coach at st johns drilled Creighton last night who beat #1 uconn by 14 the other night am I reading that right I mean he not suppose to do that mmmLost by 14 to a then 15-12 St John's and move up 3 spots.

Yeah and he said he was just trying to “rattle his players cages”. He’s so full of ish. So were they his players last night or nah?Don't tell me that washed up coach at st johns drilled Creighton last night who beat #1 uconn by 14 the other night am I reading that right I mean he not suppose to do that mmm
Looks like he got their attention.Yeah and he said he was just trying to “rattle his players cages”. He’s so full of ish. So were they his players last night or nah?
And liable to suffer the fate everyone else has on the road and get creamed by Butler.
I remember when people said that about us beating Kansas. We all see how that turned out.Beating UConn by double digits is a big deal.
It could be a really quick deal for them in the tourney. Let’s see how he finishes…Looks like he got their attention.
Ummm… did you not see Kentucky move up? They lost to LSU. And we didn’t beat the #1 teamLost by 14 to a then 15-12 St John's and move up 3 spots.
I know they also beat UConn, but come on.
It was still a big win regardless.I remember when people said that about us beating Kansas. We all see how that turned out.
Cost you much? They moved UP three spots.Same with Auburn, losing to UK isn't bad, and having a blowout win the next game isn't going to cost you much when every other team around Auburn in the rankings lost.
And the team that pulls the upset is a bad bet the next game, just like the one that upsets a good UK, Duke, or UNC team.Beating UConn by double digits is a big deal.
They owned that whole game but they shouldn’t move up 3 spots with a bad loss too.Beating UConn by double digits is a big deal.
You just helped OP make their point. If they are all similarly-ranked, then why do some go up while others don't? What criteria fits the Creightons and Dukes of the world if they are "similar" to the rest around them but get a boost from losses?Well, to be fair, when a bunch of similarly-ranked teams lose, they can't all drop.
Yes. And same does to UK beating Bama but losing at buzzer to LSU. And we moved up too.I'd say beating UConn carries a ton more weight that a loss on the road in a conference game to Pitino. No issues with Creighton's ranking. Illinois, Baylor, and Bama ranked directly ahead of them all lost and didn't have a win like UConn the same week.
