Cousins 48 pts 13 rbs

JUST destroy everyone every night until they have to admit YOU are the BEST CENTER in the world today Big Cuz.
Cousins scores on ALL post players in the league and will make each post player look silly on defense atleast once a game. That's a fact.
And he shoots 3's now

UK has some amazing big men in the NBA. Towns, Davis, Cousins, Noel and WCS hasn't had a bad rookie year either.. And they are all young and will keep getting better.

Can't think of another school who has had that kind of dominance in a single position EVER!

We have it with bigs when the league is a guard dominated league right now. That should point all potential big men right here because they know That quality at their position is rare and UK has proven time and time again that they will get the most out of their talent.

He's damn near bullying his opponent right now . He could have had 50 if not for all of the missed free throws . Kings fans were chanting MVP when he was at the line. Great moment.

Also Rondo had a triple double and WCS has been playing very good since coming back from injury. He's starting now and providing a lot of energy.

Cousins’ previous career-high was 41 points, April 3, 2012 against Phoenix. Cousins fell three points short of tying Chris Webber’s Sacramento record for points in a game.

“His skills are off the chart,” said Kings coach George Karl of Cousins. “… He does all the fundamental (skills) of the game of basketball at a high, high level.”

It wasn’t for a lack of encouragement that Cousins didn’t score 50. He missed seven of his 20 free throws. And by the end of the game, Kings general manager Vlade Divac was as loud as any fan urging Cousins to score 50 points.

“Vlade was pressuring me in the tunnel to get the 50 ball,” said Cousins, who acknowledged his free throw misses kept him from 50 points.

Cousins admitted his nerves got to him as home fans chanted “MVP!” when he was at the free throw line.

“That was part of me choking too,” Cousins said. “There was a lot of pressure on that 50 ball. But the crowd was crazy. They kept us in the game.”

The Kings are 8-3 in January and Cousins has been as formidable as any player in the NBA over that span. He’s scored at least 30 points in eight of the last 11 games.

Having WCS guarding the other teams best post player helps Cousins have big scoring games. The two of those guys together is like peas and carrots. WCS does the things Cuz isn't great at like blocking shots and tough man to man. I think WCS tries to play well for Cuz. Boogie has said he is like his little brother.

If only the KINGS had Devin Booker as their shooter instead of Bellineli and Maclemore. They'd be 10 times better. I would trade both those guys before the trade deadline. Ray Allen should come out of retirement for this team lol.

Winning 5 games in a row is soooooooo big for the kings. A confident Kings team can beat anybody. They got most of the pieces you need to win.

The Kings are in the hunt for a 7 or 8 seed. That first round matchup with GS will be outstanding.

Sac played GS a few weeks back and Boogie had 5 fouls in 12 minutes and was a complete non factor in the game. I love Boogie but for him to take the next step as a player he needs to be more consistent and bring it on both ends of the court every game.

Well the last time they played Golden State he had 33 pts and 10 Rebs in 30 minutes

Since the start of January, Cousins has been a different player.

During January, his TS% is almost 59%, 5% points higher than his season average. Hot shooting from 3, 47%, and from the line launched up his shooting efficiency.

Another interesting stat from the game yesterday. 3 ex-Cats (cuz, Rondo, WCS) had a total of 35 rebounds. The rest of the Kings had 17.

Rondo with his franchise record 6th triple double of the season as well. All we heard early on was how the Kings were a dumpster fire ready to explode. Granted they did start slowly, but with all the new faces who didn't see that coming?
