He's draft eligible and we test the waters but hasn't indicated that he will stay in the draft. He could still go to college. I'm guessing he will probably not evaluate high enough to where it's in his best interest to stay in the draft. Simmons will most likely play college somewhere.

I seriously think Cal will go after another point if Shai leaves whether it be Simons or a Lecque reclass.
Y ou know Cal has to be a little disappointed in Quade, just not the talent level of a typical Cal PG.

Since they know SGA is probably headed to the late lotto in the draft why not pick up the best SG in HS who isn't a douche nozel ( unlike Langford) . Bet Cal goes hard after him. Adding EJ and Simons would give us 4 top 15 players and Herro who really is damn close to being that as well. Fingers crossed .

I agree though Quick will be one of the best ever at UK IMO . They do need another SG though if SGA leaves as I think the original plan was to have Quick and SGA be the back court.

In addition to what Poetax said, I believe Simmons would be a 2 guard not a point. Quade and Quickley would be at the point. Simmons, Herro and Baker at the 2 and Keldon would move to the SF whoever is still there. I am assuming that Diallo will be gone and Shai would be back playing the 3. If Cal pursues Simmons he would be moving away from a traditional lineup and going with a 3 guard lineup with Washington and Richards inside.

His contributions have been mainly shooting the ball. He's not an elite pg.
If he stays at UK, I look for his career to resemble that of Quinn Cook or Nate Britt.
Combo guard roll player who gets recruited over every year.

True, Green is not Wall or Knight or Fox or Ulis. But he is a good PG, but does have some things to work on. We don't have ANY elite players on this team. That doesn't mean they suck though. AND it's not like Elite PGs are a dime-a-dozen, Simons isn't rated as an elite player. Also Simons shows on Rivals as a SG.
