Could Coach O leaving be a reason for losing some recruits....

I think Coach O was a great asset to recruiting and will be/has been hard to replace. I don't really know anything about it... but I can imagine when O sat down with a kid, and when Slice did it... just seems like O gets the better of that situation, as far as relating to young athletes, for many reasons.

With the group we just missed on, Coach O doesn't seem to have been the factor though. So many were supposedly on board for a long time, knowing O wasn't going to be here anyway. Just don't know what to think right now.

Yep, and Slice chased his dreams to St. John's. I hope he keeps chasing them on a yearly basis in the NIT.

I tend to agree with the OP...Orlando was a great recruiter. He would have helped throughout this time tremendously.
