i was so looking forward for having a tight end that could catch passes as well as do a great blocking job. I expect that before the season is over, Conrad will become a good addition to the receiving corps, opening up new potentials for the Cats. But I admit to being surprised and disappointed that he's had almost no passes come his way in the two games now. My memory isn't all that great, but I only recall. Single pass to him against USC, a pass into the end zone when he was surrounded by 4 defenders. He lifted above the defenders for the catch but got stripped before he could wrap it up. That pass was a mistake for sure.

Anybody got a clue as to why they aren't throwing to him yet? Maybe spring their secret weapon on Mizzou? As the king would say, "It's a puzzlement" to me.
