I was just informed by my son who’s a college tennis player that the UK Men’s Tennis team has defeated Ohio State in the NCAA national tournament semifinals to advance to the national championship match.

They won every singles match after losing the doubles point. Very impressive, as Ohio state was ranked number 1 earlier in the year. Let's beat Virginia and bring home another natty!
They play Virginia tomorrow at 4:00 for the National Championship. I play tennis myself, going to the courts tomorrow with my UK gear on. GBB!!

Great Season for UK. Big Blue sports are now much bigger than just men's basketball.
A second place finish is a mite better than we have pitched in most sports, recently.
Our Director’s Cup standings must be improving. It is pretty common, now, to see us competing at the top level of many sports.
Yeah, our baseball team just made the SEC tournament. You have to be in the top twelve teams out of 14 to get that honor. On the other hand, one total miss doesn't negate all the other sports. Softball did pretty well. Right now we are 8th in the Directors Cup, the top in the SEC. Next update is an update on June 16th which will include Men's Tennis.
