I cant help but think if Bama hadn't lost their 2 receivers to injuries the game wouldve been the same as the sec title game.

We lucked out during our 1st title with Saban when Colt McCoy got injured. I actually think we would've lost if he never got hurt, but we'll never know and it doesn't take away the 2009 title. Did our injuries change this game? Probably. Does it take away UGA's title this year? Absolutely not. They earned it and were the most consistent team all year long.

As a fan of tradition and the sport, it was pretty powerful to see grown men crying tears of joy watching their team win the schools first championship since 1980. There was a similar scene when UK basketball won the Title in 1978.

Injuries are part of it. My Titans have not had D. Henry (the real MVP, not Brady or Rodgers) for half a season and just proceeded to get the 1 seed and the bye despite that. You have to be next man up.

Yeah I watched the replay and Kirby motioned for him to go down, then got caught up in rooting for him go . . . . then towards the end when he had one more guy to beat it looked like he motioned go down again! Man was totally conflicted.
This is not clear. Georgia chose to pressure Young this time instead of letting him sit back there and pick them apart.
Williams was in there for awhile and they couldn’t get a TD when he was.
