If I read my box scores correctly, UK has given up runs to their opponent in the 1st inning in 6 of their 14 games.

Jacksonville State - Game 1 - 2 runs bottom of 1st

WMU - Game 3 - 1 run in the top of the 1st. Got it right back. - ** I also mention this one down below, just note not to count it twice**

TCU - Game 1 - 3 runs. Of course, got it back and a lead first chance we got, but still.

TCU - Game 3 - 3 runs in top of first

Murray State - 1 run in top of first

Ohio - 3 runs in top of first (4 more in second)

In 4 more games they've given up runs early (prior to the 4th):

Bellarmine - Gave up 2 in the 3rd, needed a 3 run 9th inning to win.

WMU - Game 2 - Gave up 6 runs in the 3rd to go down 6-3, and another in the 4th to make it 7-3. Scored 9 runs in the 7th or later to win in extras.

WKU - Gave up 2 in the top of the 2nd. Got it back immediately, ended up giving up 2 in the top of the 9th for our first loss.

Evansville - Gave up 3 in the top of the 2nd for 3-1, got it tied in the bottom half, then gave up another run 4-3 in the top half of the 3rd and again tied it up in bottom half. B4 run made the difference.

In 2 games they've been tied and needed a rally in the 6th or later to win, both of them big wins:

Jacksonville State - Game 3 - 1-1 going to top of 6th, UK scores 1 in 6th, 1 in 7th, 5 in 8th and 7 in 9th.

Western Michigan - Game 3 - 5-5 game until the bottom of the 8th when UK finally put up an 11 spot to end it by mercy rule.
