I don't think it will make much difference this year. People are complaining about who is number 2 thru 8. Well, does anyone really believe there's much difference between Duke and Gonzaga this year? That is the extreme of the 2 thru 8. The committee says they want balance and fairness. Without a doubt a computer can pick the matches almost perfectly. But, as the saying goes - if you put crap in you will get crap out. I think the computers can take the criteria the humans claim to use and get it perfect. Wonder what a computer would actually pick if it had the same criteria as the committee entered into the selections?

If the "big networks" ,who have the money and computers, would dare do it - it would be a great comparison. Take the human factors out of it, just match the teams up with sos, rpi, w/l and then give proximity to schools as the tie breakers. Whatever the real criteria is suppose to be.

Doesn't matter. UK will be #1 and go to the closest locations. We will get the best #2 available period. We will also get the best number 3,4,5, 8, 9 all in our brackets. Why? Because the best of all those will be closest to us location wise. The NCAA pairings have been a sham for a long time. 2012 was not a cake walk for us, and 2015 will not be either. We will have to win it on the court - better if we can anyway.
