....at the end of the double OT game between Ball St. & Eastern Michigan on ESPN Buzzer Beater? Those 3 guys should be fired or at least suspended for the rest of the season. I don't know how the EMU coach kept from having a stroke.
In short:
* EMU led 87-85 when BSU missed a shot.
*EMU grabbed the rebound with around 12 seconds to go.
*Two BSU players were trying hard to foul the EMU player who had the ball.
*No whistle
*One of the BSU players finally tries to tie him up which resulted in a tussle for the ball with them spinning around.
*Still no whistle.
*A second BSU player reaches in and after dragging the guy a couple of feet, rips the ball away.
*Still no whistle.
*BSU player who ripped the ball away looks like a running back as he takes about three steps before throwing it to an open man at the top of the key for a game winning 3
*Still no whistle.
*Refs go to the table to review the play.....to see if there should be any time left. They "award" EMU .7 of a second to go the length of the floor.
Absolutely one of the worst officiating sequences I've ever seen, which is saying a lot.
