Commitment Breakdown: Four-star LB Jayvant Brown to Kentucky

That's a high quality signee for a position of need. Pretty much came out of nowhere at the last second but it's a nice pickup, for sure. Between the transfers and the signees, this is turning out to be a pretty solid recruiting season for the Cats. If the OL gets its crap together, we should have every opportunity to get to 8+ wins next year. Having Coen back should help immensely with his ability and willingness to structure the offense to our players' strengths.

It's more than solid when you breakdown the star averages. Plus adding in 6 transfers.

And not done yet.

Agree. I need to eat some crow. Still think we could do better but stoops 2 is really delivering in recruiting
Yeah, maybe but his group of Wallace, Thrower, Jackson did a really solid job filling in for Jones and Square when they were hurt so Mike Stoops deserves credit for that. Plus, with those guys and Brown/Godfrey it bodes well for the future.

What I'm afraid of is for the lineman portals not having enough time to gel. We wind up with a chaotic line. I liked having a big blue wall. Hopefully I'm just borrowing trouble.
