For all of the talk about coaching, I thought I would pull up the roster and take a look at who we're depending on.
Farrington H. (Sr)- I think we can safely say that this Joker recruit has maximized his talent under Stoops.
Jabari Johnson (Sr.)- see above
Regie Meant (soph)- seeing his first real action this year
Miggins (juco jr)- still getting acclimated to sec; a backup thus far
Poop Johnson (sr)- big improvement from last year to this year! Recorded 20 tackles in a game... Scoop and score guy
Matt Elam (soph)- played much better last night. Thrust into spotlight when senior captain and defensive leader went down
Hatcher (jr)- does some great things on the field. Has battled injuries and drug tests since his fr year
Forest (Sr)- former wr has absolutely maximized his ability under this staff
Henderson (Sr)- has played better his senior year than I thought possible; joker guy; low ceiling
Flannigan (Sr)- got behind the ball with a shoulder sep in camp. Flashes of greatness but not sustained
Stamps (Sr)- played great last year... Has never recaptured that form..
Mcwilson (jr)- should have redshirted first year, but talent (team) was horrendous; flashes ability.
Edwards(redshirt fr)- best player on our defense last night
West (red fr)- showed great potential in cleanup role at miss st; really wish he hadn't popped that ankle
Quinn (Sr)-- maxed out; a backup at best in sec; joker guy
Baity (tr fr)- future star
Westry (tr fr)- future all league guy
Offense
Wr- aside from Timmons, virtually all true sophomores; no redshirts
RB- boom and horton- true sophomores; maximizing their abilities behind a porous oline
Kemp (jr)- shines at times; not the back that H and B are
Conrad (tr fr)- total stud
Oline:
Toth (jr) all Sec type player
Swindle (sr)- great effort; maxed out talent
Haynes, meadows, mosier- all sophomores
GAA- true freshman playing tackle in sec
